Carl Hefflefinger, CFP®

Founder, Managing Member

Carl was born and raised in Portland, Maine, to a family full of entrepreneurs. His father left the corporate world and founded a rental car franchise when he was very young, and his uncles and cousins founded businesses of their own. Starting with his first paper route at the age of 10, Carl has always been fascinated with how businesses operate and the opportunities they present both for employment and ownership.

Including a rewarding four-year career on the school’s rowing team, Carl graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), earning a degree in mechanical engineering. What followed was a six-year career in high-tech before entering the financial planning and investment management profession.

For over 30 years, Carl has been applying his analytic and interpersonal skills to help clients live a life they can love while understanding the mechanics of strategic planning and investment. In 1999, Carl was one of the early adopters to earn the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner designation.

Carl is a lifelong athlete and, in 2013, qualified for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.
